S.E.R.V.E.

"SERVE was founded in 1979 to stand the gap between what Stafford County Social Services can offer and the need of many in Stafford living at or below the poverty limit. Every thing we do at SERVE is funded through donations from individuals, churches, civic groups and corporations. Several months ago, we sprung a leak. Literally, our roof began to fail. We already had three layers of roofing on our old office at 15 Upton Lane in Stafford. So it all had to come off. We had some money, but only enough to apply a few patches. We really needed a new roof. Matt Fletcher at Fletcher Construction learned of our need. He stepped forward in faith, assembled a team, and in the end gifted SERVE with a new roof. I thank God for Fletcher Construction and the team that Matt put together. If that includes any of you, we are overjoyed with what God can do. “All things” it says in Romans 8:28, “All Things”.

Fairy Godmother Project

Our mission is to ease the burden of day to day life for families facing all phases of a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Unlike most pediatric cancer organizations, FGP’s focus is on the parents. Our philosophy is that by alleviating the day-to-day stress through emotional and financial support, we are providing these caregivers with more time and less stress allowing them to better support their families during these difficult times.

Born To Be Brave

We understand dads. They have questions. “Do I have what it takes to lead my son? To connect with him in a meaningful way? Am I the man that he needs me to be?” The answers to all of those questions is a bold “YES!”. You are the man that God has put in his life. And God has qualified you and equipped you for the job. Here is the truth: dads don’t need a bigger to-do list. And sons don’t need a perfect father. All your son needs is you!

At Born to be Brave, You’ll learn how to: connect with your son in ways that are NOT awkward and discover the simple things you can do to go from being an active father to a strategic father. Most importantly, instead of leaving with more TO DO’s, you’ll leave knowing all that has already BEEN DONE for you to be the role model you’ve always wanted to be for your son. And you’re going to leave feeling brave. After all, you were Born to be Brave.
